Lion of Judah

Lion of Judah

The Lion of Judah logo was developed for Talmud Torah in 2005 by the Edmonton-based marketing communications firm, mkm. The same company also developed the tree of life logo that the Talmud Torah Society and the school use quite extensively. The Lion of Judah was added as a strong Jewish symbol that could be used by students as a fun logo — applied to clothes and to the school’s sport teams uniforms. The students have been calling their teams the Lions ever since.

The logo project was led by Michael Bobroff and Andy Feher.
